When I was in junior high I helped one hour a day in the school psychologist's office. My Dad was a psychologist--I was fascinated by the subject of psychology and started college with that declared as my major. After taking every course they offered in that department at the junior college I was attending, I started in on their sociology courses. Loved them and switched my major. Somehow I ended up graduating from a university in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Social Sciences. It would take more than a school psychologist to figure out how I got from point A to point B.
Sounds like your job is keeping you fairly occupied lately. Are you in an elementary, middle, or high school or do you work in multiple schools? It sounds fascinating. The graphic is funny, too, even for "civilians" like me. I've seen lots of variations of it--including the quilting one. Have an enjoyable weekend before the fun really begins!
This is hilarious and so true. It's the same in private practice except, I'd have to add a telephone in one hand. I hope you get nothing but easy cases and understanding parents.

ReplyDeleteWay to go, Freda. Here's hoping you have a good year and enjoy the kiddos.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I do hope this is somewhat tongue-in-cheek. Here's hoping you have the best school year yet!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Enjoy your weekend before you start all that "work" on Monday :-)
ReplyDeleteSometime being a teacher can feel like that too! Now that I'm retired it's one thing I don't miss!
ReplyDeleteThat is a screaming situation.....all that paperwork.
ReplyDeleteVery funny - and probably close to the truth as far as the paperwork is concerned.

Very funny! Do you find it close to the truth?
