I was able to finish up the jelly roll quilt yesterday.... the quilting went smoothly...
I tried to get art-y taking photos... but you all know me... definitely wishful thinking!
No problems with the binding... and I was satisfied with my fabric choice...
I'll run it thru the washer and dryer today...
...meanwhile, I have a half bushel of these....
...to turn into...
Love the fabrics, the quilting, the binding, everything about this quilt. It is beautiful!

ReplyDeleteAwesome-------finished with time to spare. Definitely a "go to" pattern. Love the wavy quilting-------maybe I could do that one. I can taste those peach preserves now, yumm.
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing! It turned out beautifully. You are fast!
ReplyDeleteYumm! I just got a peach pie recipe from Rhonda at Cobblestone Quilting, and now this. I am craving peaches big time!!
The swirls are such an amazing texture really!!! I need to try that.
ReplyDeleteHomemade peach jam yum-O!!!! We need to go up the road and have some peach icecream:)
Love the quilting - gives it a cool river flowing sort of feel. They need that!

Love the quilt, we all had faith that you could do it. I also love the new look for your blog.
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the wavy lines for the quilting. It really works with the jelly roll quilt and that fabric. The family you are giving it to is going to love it and are sure to appreciate that someone spent time making them something so lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love how this quilt turned out, I have a jelly roll just waiting to be turned into a quilt sometime, when I do, I think I will be doing wavy quilting as well, it really suits the look of the quilt and helps all the colours meld together.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have some of those peaches, but not quite that many. Like your header.
