slightly cooler here in Adelaide, Australia, we're enjoying 48 degrees. That's getting to be a fairly big pile of blocks, soon you won't be able to jump over them :)
Anxious to see your blocks on the design wall. Hubby came in yesterday and said 'lets get out of here and go somewhere where it is cool." I responded "unless you go to Alaska , the rest of the country is in a heat wave." Stay in and quilt.
I think we're bad off in southwest Ohio when I see 98, 97, 98 across the TV screen. Wow! Just hearing your temperatures makes me want some of that good iced tea. Lillian lillianscupboard.wordpress.com
OMG! It is just too hot. Thank goodness for air conditioning. You should have something great to show soon.
ReplyDeleteman, y'all have Texas weather going on this week

ReplyDeleteStep by step you'll get there Freda, but when it's so hot you have to take little steps...
ReplyDeleteI've forgotten--how many do you need? Staying in with the AC may help get this quilt done quicker than anticipated. : )
ReplyDeleteAnd when it's 10*C (50*F) inside it's also good to stay indoors under the air condoning!
ReplyDeleteThank you Empress, Carlos is a wonderful way to get the day started. It's only 92 here with sweet ocean breezes ;)
ReplyDeletethe heat continues yes:( Good times! Like you say it makes for good sewing time. Just have to wear the boy out first-lol!

ReplyDeleteLovely deep dark blues in that mix! And Rob Thomas is also easy on the eyes ;-)
ReplyDeleteIts in the 100's here too. Going to be a long summer.
ReplyDeleteOh my. Love Santana!
ReplyDeleteI knew it was hot out there, didn't know it was 105.
That's a lot of blocks there, Ms Freda.
