Start-itis!


After six (out of 9) UFO finishes, start-itis came bounding around the corner, demanding that a new project be started.   I think I did well to get that many UFOs off my list before this hit... so I did a little stash shopping and came up with a project that is manageable while I continue to work on UFOs as well.


Yup...  a holiday throw-size quilt with very large blocks... I can make one per evening and still be done with the block in two weeks...

I'm using a Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorial...




Should be fun!

    That will be a nice little quilt. How do all of the seams come together in the middle? I have hesitated to make this block because I thought the center would be a big lump from all the converging fabrics.

    And I haven't found a remedy for that title disease myself! Enjoyed watching this tut again, and the quilt is a beauty. Look at you, pulling out holiday fabric! Pretty!

    I'm looking forward to seeing how you tackle those windmilly things. I'm sure they'll look fab in Christmassy fabrics. :o)

    I must go and investigate what size a "turnover triangle" is to see if I can work out how to make the windmilly things.

    Even if I started a christmas project on the 1st of January I wouldn't get it finished for christmas.
    But I'm quite sure you will......lol.

    I have 3 projects I would like to finish before I let my startitis take over. 6 out 9 UFO's done? You deserve to start a project or 2.
