...Barbara Brackman of the 2011 Civil War BOW has decided to do another BOW starting this fall. This time the history will cover the fight for women's rights...
...and blocks will be tied into the history as were the CW blocks.
I've not committed 100% to this BOW but am seriously considering it. One block a week is do-able for me... I learned a lot with the CW BOW and would like to continue to improve my piecing skills.
I'm going to have to check that out. I'm a big fan of women's suffrage. The things those ladies went through to get us the right to vote is amazing.
ReplyDeleteGo on you know you want to do it, there is still some time before it starts. My CW quilt is still in the "flimsy" state, I'm intending to quilt it next month :)
ReplyDeleteYour CW Quilt is awesome. I will keep the Women's Rights BOW in mind. I have enjoyed the Block of the month I've been doing, so I will see how the Road Trip BOW goes before deciding.
ReplyDeleteThat's an amazing quilt top, you should be proud...I love that each one is different. I had fun fondling and rearranging them ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt - I didn't make the blocks, but I followed along every week...does that count?!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to jump on board...I've been pretty good about not starting a lot of new projects this year! This time I'm going to limit the number of fabrics I use a bit more so that final step of putting it all together should be easier! (Maybe red, white, blue and pink!)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to do this one, I just can't imagine what fabrics we will use. Guess I better finish my CW BOW.
ReplyDeleteYour last BOM turned out fabulous. I think its great that Barbara Brackman is offering the new BOM. It is tempting.
ReplyDeleteYour CW BOM quilt is gorgeous. I was downloading the patterns, but never getting them made, so I finally quit. Don't think I will try to do it this year. I learned my lesson. : )
ReplyDeleteHope you do it so I can watch and "Oooo" and "Ahhh"!
I love your CW quilt top. I really wish I had done that one. I will look for the new one in the fall. If all goes well, I should be able to gather fabric before then so I am al ready to start.
