I needed to make the gift card holder for my DDIL since I had to mail it but I finally finished up the one for my DD last night... along with the coffee cozy.
I tried FMQing the top of the bag and, since the thread blends in so well.... you can't really see all the "omg...now where should I go?" areas. I even "wrote" my DD's name in the quilting on one side!
I just need to decide on what color ribbon to put on the zipper and wrap it up and I'll be all done. Good thing because DD and family arrive after lunch today!
I bet DD loved her gift!
ReplyDeleteCute! Good job on the FMQ. It is hard to know which direction is next.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty gifts! Really, our stitches bother us more than anyone else. Glad you were able to get it finished in time!

These are so nice and the ones in the previous post as well. I'm sure the recipients will love them. The coffee cozies are something I would like to make for my dd too. She is a coffee lover. Happy Mother's Day to you!
