Starting New Quilt A-Long (aka QAL)

I've joined in Don't Call Me Betsy's Kaleidoscope QAL!  Yes, yes... I know... I already have 1001 irons in the fire but this is just too cool not to join!

Sunday afternoon, I used Elizabeth's down-loadable templates and cut out all my fabrics.  It wasn't as hard as I thought it might be.

If you're interested in the fabrics and layouts planned by others in the QAL, be sure to check out the Flickr group!  Lots of lovely fabrics and some very cool layouts!

    Someday I will try it! : )
I love your fabrics--great choices. I am not going to "join in" as I am drowning in W.I.P. and UFOs, but I will be interested to see your quilt progress.

  4. Jealous that you got your cutting done already! I really wanted to start but just had no time this weekend. Finally got my king done tho, yay! Leaving for vacation to visit family on Thursday so we'll see if any crafting gets done this week.

  5. I missed the cut off date for joining the QAL, but I have a kaleidoscope UFO that I started years ago, so I may revisit that project and try to finish it. Love the fabric you selected, I also have some of that line.

  6. Those blues are so pretty!! I can't wait to follow your progress. Life is too short not to try and make every quilt that you love!! So I say one more iron is a good thing! :-)
