Every time I walk past the dining room table with the unpinned quilt sandwich, I realize just how large it is... and how long it's going to take me to quilt.
How do I handle this type of situation? Why, of course... task avoidance! *lol*
So I made a mug rug...
...so MUCH quicker....
Very pretty! Some day I'm going to get a machine that doesn't fight me, and learn to quilt. I enjoy your posts!
ReplyDeleteBut the quiltsandwich is still waiting and calling:"Finish me, finish me..." *LOL*

I like your idea of avoidance!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! It's nice to have small treasures that can give you a sense of accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mug rug! Sometimes we need to take a detour to make the job waiting seem a little less daunting. And I should know, it took me 9 months to finish a quilt and five of those were spent waiting for me to quilt it - lol!
ReplyDeleteSo much quicker and so beautiful. I'm making a bunch for Christmas presents. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteLove how you stitched it. Now I've gotta go find a mini-project.
ReplyDeleteTask avoidance...ha ha. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is SEW cute! I love the sunflowers in your fabric and your serpentine stitch :-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! I am making a green "HOPE" mug rug for my coworker's daughter, whose favorite color is green and her middle name happens to be Hope! Will post a picture when I do it, hopefully this week. I have stocked up on a bunch of those mugs to be used for all kinds of occasions. Also bought the chicken one for the chicken lover out there. :o)
