Completed Border


I worked on adding the last tone-on-tone white border on the pink-n-white double 4-patch last evening...

There's not a space large enough in the house to take a photo of the entire finished quilt top but this should give you an idea...



I was sorta dreading doing the last border because I wasn't sure I had enough of the white fabric left... in fact, I was resigned to using a different fabric to finish if I ran out of the first.

This is the white fabric I had left...


...a measly 5" inches WOF plus a partial 2.5" WOF strip and two 2.5" pieces.  I would say that was a close call...

    Wow, looks great! You must be living right! Just enough but I know you were sweating it. Great looking quilt. I want to make a pink one too and I will when I get a chance. It's lovely...
