Despite two little girls underfoot for most of yesterday, I did manage to get a little sewing in.... made 116 HST blocks using Kaffe Fassett charm squares and 5" squares of Kona "Ash"...
I know, I know... no new projects til you finish the two you're working on now! But I couldn't help myself... *lol*
I try to keep no more than 2 piecing projects going at one time...of course, I don't count the hand piecing one I rarely touch and sometimes I cheat and start cutting a third but I don't let myself sew it until I finish a top. I found there was no controlling my UFO's if I didn't set some limits!
ReplyDeleteOh, the temptation of that next idea/project! Sometimes it's just too hard to resist ;)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you're up to now!
I think I have about 5 WIPs at the moment. So hard not to start something new when you see all the great things being created out there.
ReplyDeleteI love the way those fabrics look together! this will be a really nice quilt when you get to it!
ReplyDeleteThose squares are the perfect size quilts for leprechauns and fairies! Good work!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabric!! I know, don't you just wish there was more time in a day for quilting??? LOL!
ReplyDeleteTWO PROJECTS!! If that was all I had going I'd be doing cartwheels and starting some more! However, I think you are very sane to set limits.
