It's been a long week and I am so looking forward to Le Weekend. Thought I needed a little fabric therapy... and it was mug rug time!
I have been hitting my scrap bins to make mug rugs and challenged myself to use scraps of scraps because I didn't want the bits and pieces going back in the bins.

I also wanted to try my hand at some wonky-ness...
It was fun to figure out quilting options too...
One of these days I'm going to have to take a 'drive thru' my stash to make a ton of rugs. I'll hand 'em out all over the park this summer. Love that you're trying all these cool new things.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so cute. I love the color combos. Great job. I love using scraps on a project. I will be doing the " bottled rainbow "quilt along starting March, and it uses a LOT of scraps, I can't wait! If you are interested the button is on my sidebar.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, the best therapy! All are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThese are a great way to use up all leftovers! Have you considered making a selvage strip mug rug?
ReplyDeleteKudos for the Willywonky-ness!
